Championship

01Organiser and status

The CPA World Cup — Dream of Asia is held as part of the Europe Culture & Art Dance Festival and organised by the Chinese Culture Promotion Society, National Art Test and Estimation Committee (CCPS).

The show dance events are held as the WDC AL World Championship Showdance (Ballroom and Latin). They are organised by the All-Russian Federation of DanceSport, Breaking and Acrobatic Rock'n'Roll (FDSARR), with the support of the World Dance Council (WDC), the World Federation of Acrobatic Dances and Dance Sports (WFADS) and XinJue (Shanghai) Education Technology Co., Ltd.

02Dates and daily schedule

Workshops and the dance camp run on 3-4 December 2026. The competition runs 4-6 December 2026.

Daytime events are held 08:00-18:00, evening events 19:00-23:00.

Venue & Travel

03Competition venue

All competition rounds are held at the Langxi National Sport Center, Tianzihu Road, Langxi County, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, China.

04Accommodation

Participants, adjudicators and guests are accommodated at the official championship hotel. Room allocation and booking are handled by the organising committee; hotel details are confirmed with each booking.

05Airport transfers and shuttle

Airport transfers for adjudicators and competitors are provided on 2-3 December on arrival and on 7 December on departure. A shuttle bus runs between the official championship hotel and the competition venue throughout the event.

Entry & Fees

06Registration and deadline

Registration is online at cpa-cup.pro. Entries close on 19 November 2026.

07Submitting an entry

An entry is only processed once payment has been submitted with it; entries without payment are not accepted. Entries must also be sent to the official championship email address, which is to be confirmed by the organising committee.

08Payment methods

Entry fees are payable in cash, by Alipay, by WeChat Pay or by bank transfer. QR codes for Alipay and WeChat Pay are issued by the organising committee on request. Bank transfer details are to be confirmed by the organising committee.

09Entry fees are non-refundable

Entry fees submitted and confirmed by the organiser cannot be refunded and cannot be transferred to another event.

Participation

10Acceptance of entries

The organiser reserves the right to decline an entry from any competitor whose status is unclear under the organiser's rules and conditions.

11No substitution of partners

Substitution of partners within the same event is strictly prohibited.

12Check-in and punctuality

Competitors must be present and checked in on time for every event they have entered. Late arrivals are not permitted to compete and are disqualified.

13Participation of minors

Children may take part only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

14Amateur status

Amateur competitors may not enter non-amateur events, with the exception of Youth under 19 and Junior under 16.

15Date of birth and proof of age

Date of birth must be stated in the entry form, and the organiser may request proof of age at any time.

In the under-10, under-12, under-14, under-16 and under-19 events, proof of age may be requested in the event of a dispute or complaint. Such matters are decided by the Chairman or the organiser, and their decision is final.

16Age limits

Age limits for each age group are to be confirmed by the organising committee and will be published here.

Judging & Awards

17Adjudication panel

The competition is judged by a panel of qualified, experienced, internationally licensed adjudicators.

18Adjudicators' decisions are final

The adjudicators' decision is final and no correspondence on results will be entered into.

19Trophies, medals and certificates

In every event, the couples placed first, second and third are awarded trophies and/or medals. All finalists receive medals and/or certificates.

General Conditions

20Changes to the programme

The organiser reserves the right to change the programme of events without prior notice where it considers this necessary.

21Cancellation of an event

The organiser reserves the right to cancel, without prior notice, any event entered by fewer than two couples.

22Liability

The organiser accepts no liability and no claims for injury, damage or loss suffered by competitors during or after the competition.

23Who these regulations apply to

Everyone attending the championship - guests, spectators, competitors and the organiser's officials alike - is bound by these regulations, and by attending accepts them. No exceptions are made.

24Matters not covered by these regulations

Where a question or dispute arises on a point not expressly covered by these regulations, the organiser resolves the matter at its own discretion.

25Hotel cancellation and no-show

Hotel bookings confirmed through the organiser are subject to charges in the event of cancellation or no-show. The applicable charges are to be confirmed by the organising committee.
