Travel contribution

Couples placing at the 2026 International Championship, the 2026 Blackpool Dance Festival or the 2026 UK Dance Festival receive a contribution towards their travel to Langxi, according to placement.

Amounts are set and paid in Chinese yuan (CNY). For orientation only: ¥10,000 is roughly €1,200–1,300 at the rate at time of publication.

Paid on presentation of the flight itinerary and the corresponding invoices.

This programme supports international participants travelling to the championship in Langxi, covering part of the cost of the journey and the stay. It applies to entrants who are not Chinese nationals. Chinese participants are covered by separate support programmes; the organising committee can advise on the conditions.

Eligibility is confirmed by the organising committee for each entry individually.

Official hotel

Couples ranked in the top 24, Professional or Amateur, at the Blackpool Dance Festival, the UK Dance Festival or the International Championship in 2024, 2025 or 2026 are hosted at the official championship hotel: one room for two nights — the night before they compete and the night of their competition day. The dates depend on when the couple is scheduled to dance. Accommodation is subject to availability; the organising committee can confirm details. There is no cash alternative for couples who stay elsewhere.

Deadline

Entries close 19 November 2026. Rooms are blocked with the official hotel in advance, so entries received after this date cannot be included in the accommodation arrangements.

How to claim

For questions about support, contact the organising committee using the details in the Contacts section. Placement is verified by the organising committee against the published results of the qualifying events — you do not need to submit proof of your result. A couple may receive both the travel contribution and hotel accommodation.
